Favorite hunting rifle caliber and sidearm caliber.
« on: January 04, 2017, 12:38:23 AM »
So what is everyone's favorite caliber for hunting big game? If you could only choose 1? What is your choice of caliber for a sidearm you pack for protection while hunting?
I choose the .30-06, and the .45
I know one gun choice is "boring", but lets keep it to your favorite caliber of rifle and sidearm.

30-06. And I see no need for another gun while out hunting. If it's dense bear country I may also carry bear spray.

30-06. Never bought into the need of carrying a sidearm while modern rifle hunting.
