Here's a picture of the my Bailey and the modifications that I've done to it. In some of my trail cam videos, I could see that the trigger is too short allowing the beaver to swim over the top of the trap.
Welded a loop of wire adding two inches to the height of the trigger in order to make it a drowning set.
Also welded a washer bent at a 45 degree angle to the base of the trigger to improve sensitivity.
Added two 9" lengths of pvc pipe that the cable runs through. This was added to keep the cable moving freely under the wire fencing.
