I was in need of a light, cool hiker boot. Did a little searching and went shopping once and didn't see much I liked. I went on Amazon and got a pair of Merrell hikers for $70. I'll be damned if they might be the most comfortable shoe I've ever bought. They aren't advertised as waterproof which I almost always require but, slipped in the first day felt great. Two days on my feet in rocky ground and they feel good. Just figured id throw it out there. Inlike a wide width boot too which I got with these ones.
