I have shot a compound bow once. Literally. I should be a staff shooter for Bowtech tomarrow!  :IBCOOL:
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.

feel the burn, Bob.

you'll love it...it's very addicting. don't try to be cool and shoot robin hoods though, that gets expensive.

ive had the same sting on my bow for years and years, and can group them the size of a softball at 60yds. i dont think it is necessary, just adds more $$$ to the bill i guess it may make you look cooler but thats bout it. sounds like you got a sweet knew bow, hope you get some good kills on it

It's very hard to beat a stock bowtech string they are great. If it was a pse,or hoyt i would change it :twocents:
all of the new pse pro series bows come with americas best bowstrings. i have noticed bLowtech strings to be pretty good though... oops the L slipped in there by accident... :P

and XxX strings are good too from what i have seen of them!!

Ok did someone put glue on there strings?...LOL
The strings that come on Bowtech's are great strings and same with the PSE Pro bows...
bowtech uses BCY 452X ...the best out there for no creep. Thats what we use and most other custom string makers use....Most stock strings are made of BCY 8125 ...its good but it will creep but is faster.
One of the big things about strings are they need to be served under tension and served in the right direction.

Gosh.....I still shoot my stocker on my ancient Mathews LX.  Seems to work just fine.  I think this year I will finally install the Winners Choice I bought last year.  I do need a spare string set up just in case.
