Walther PPK 7.65 mm
« on: January 09, 2017, 06:55:04 AM »
Are there any Walther firearm experts out there, or have some knowledge on these guns?
I inherited this Walther from my dad who passed some time ago.
I have done some reading online  and know that this model and caliber was used in some of the James Bond movies.
Yesterday, I was doing some research, and trying to determine the actual build date. Some of the proof symbols on the gun are pointing to a older gun.
On the right side of the barrel, under the injector slide, in front of the injector port there is a stamped eagle with a letter N underneath. On the left side behind the trigger on the frame there is another eagle proof stamp with the letters and numbers WaA359
Black plastic grips with serial #381xxxK.
Gun is in never fired, never carried condition. I have never shot the gun myself and never remember my dad ever talking about it.
Any knowledge appreciated.
