Yes it will as long as the area hasn't changed!! And I am not sure but we always cut our mushrooms to leave a stump if you will, we never rip them out of the ground..

The few we have found have come from the same location / area both years. Limited time for trips has limited our exploration so we always hit the place that produced first. Hoping to expand our horizons with some overnight / multi day trips this year. The only advice I have is once you find the elevation they are growing at keep working that general vicinity.Again feel free to PM those coodinates
Pinch or cut them off, and carry in a mesh bag to help repopulate for next year.
