Nice find Eric  hopefully there were no animals around cause everyone knows if you get within a quarter mile of them when it's cold they will fall over and die  :chuckle:

I think that most experienced hunters/outdoorsman know better. What I fear is the whole hoard of newbies spurred on by youtube videos who see a report of fresh bone hitting the hills and running deer and elk all over hell's half acre.We all know the sight of a human in the winter isn't going to kill these animals, but a bunch of hipsters with new boots, Firstlite clothing out from under the Christmas tree and a lifted Chevy running after them hoping the horns will fall off might.  So, based on  that, I feel we as a group, owe it to ourselves to practice a little caution when talking about shed hunting, especially this time of year. That's all.

Sorry for the rant and the perceived defensiveness. Just get sick of seeing the shed thread derailed by the Internet police.  Maybe now that the drama is done (hopefully) this thread can go back to its intended purpose of posting 2017 sheds. Congrats again to all of you finding sheds!

Gotta admit though that the OP cautioning everyone else and then posting a pic of an empty bed in the snow with the shed. Seems a bit hypocritical  ;)
Then a few posts later mention it was off the road with a leashed dog.  :chuckle:

Yep... right after a couple detracting posts and guys then saying let's get this thread back on track u jump back in to get the last moronic defense of your internet police drivel. I've seen plenty of animals bedded next to roads, why do you think road hunting is so popular  :chuckle: and now I'm guilty of being a friggin moron for bloviating so  :tung: this is tongue in cheek so no need to keep it going and I won't be contributing to this thread again unless it is to post shed photos

You're pretty sensitive. If you look at my post it was questioning me being the moron not you. But carry on with your pantie  bunch. I'll be interested to see where this one goes.
