First blacktail shed.

Went out for a few hours today. No deer sheds, but I did find my first elk shed. Can't believe I found it. Only a little bit of the bumps on the base was showing. Can anyone see it in the  first picture?

Bottom right corner of the picture? Nice find, the only spike shed I've ever found was laying on top of the snow.

The base of it is in the circle and the rest goes to the left under the leaves.

First blacktail shed of the year for me, as I found it today. I think it's fair to say it hadn't been down long.

Cleaned this one up, if you want to circle the location and repost make sure you keep it clean and watch the comments fellas, family friendly.

A nice BT shed that I found.  I had to long arm it to get the shed in the picture.

No worries it was harmless at first but then just kept snowballing to the point that it just all had to be deleted to get the thread back on track.

Carry on.

Here is my first shed found in 2017. I was setting cameras up and saw it just off the mail elk highway. Found 3 spike sheds in my life, never a branched bull.
