Great finds you guys!  I've only made it out twice, but last weekend I found these little guys...sheds #2 and #3 on the year...

First time finding sheds with my daughter - we spent the whole day driving and hiking around wherever she wanted to go and talking about everything a 5 year old can think of to talk about. I spotted them and guided us in the general direction until she "found" them. Made a memory that will last my whole life I think and a memento to last for her as well.

I do the same with my 5 yr old.  It seems like he's always asking me if he can hold one of the sheds he has found.  I like the way you wrote on it, I take a grinder and flatten a spot on the white bottom of the antler and write the date with a sharpie.

I just used a dremel tool and went in 1/8" or so so that it could never fade. I figured it will be cool to look back at years down the road.

Nice, I was in a great area today in kapowsin and got my azz kicked.  Tons of elk sign, probably still a bit early.
