45 ACP brass
« on: January 13, 2017, 10:46:27 AM »
Anyone loaded any of the Small primer stuff?
I bought a few boxes, not knowing they were small primer and have been hanging on to said brass.

More than anything, I was wondering if the loading manual powder charges are still about the same or does primer size make much of a difference?

Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

I've loaded small primer 45 using same powder load as large and never had an issue.

No difference at all.  I hated the stuff at first but since you don't have to change your priming systems say for 9mm/.40 and now .45, it was something that should have been done long ago.....

Ya have a good point there.
I'll use the lg primer brass till I run out of the lg primers then likely switch over too.
