I'm just trying to get across that there is no place in the State close to everyone. Somebody is going to have a drive. We have two Rendezvous, one East of the Mountains and one west.
I try and  get a central location as much as possible.

We would still be open to another location and they way to do that is to come to the Spring Business meeting with a plan for next year and present it. We used to hold the Summer Rendezvous in other locations but someone has to take ownership of the event if they wish to move it.
You might wish to to talk to Bernie and go to the Intermountain Fur Harvesters Sale in  Coeur d'Alene Feb 18th.

I wasn't complaining. I realize it came across that way. I look forward to mid August in cashmere every year now that I'm a trapper.  But before that it seemed like a long drive to make just to check it out and see if it's something for me. After a few years I did it and I'm happy I did.  I keep seeing people with similar thoughts and I felt it needed to be brought up again.  I know Doug is working on a trappers Ed class in his area and I think it's a great idea. And I bet it will be a success just because it's a little closer.
