.22 Glenfield Stock refinish
« on: February 15, 2009, 01:57:06 PM »
Looking at my rifles the other day i decided to refinish my old 1977 Gelnfield 22 mod 25.
I "lightly" sanded it down just enough to remove the finish only, then rubbed it with 320 and applied Danish oil, let three coats of that set up overnight then started with the Natural Verathane finish.
took two full days and nights but it was worth it.

Thought i would show it here also. going to be weird shooting it looking nice, im used to it being my beater rifle.
photo of all 3 marlins is the before pic.
then after photos.
cant tell its the same rifle hehe
