Doing my part to help out the salmon population, LOL.
More meat for the sausage/pepperoni pile.

Lawn darts and blue bills.   :chuckle:  The lawn darts are a good fast flying pass shooting target.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Heck they taste good as bacon wraps.  Nobody at work could tell the difference between them and teal, bufflehead or goldeneye.  I marinated with Allegro for 24 hours.  All tasted better than dove wraps.

I wish we had a separate bag limit on saw bills. I'd shoot a few more on the river.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

When I started duck hunting in WA state there was a separate 5 mergie limit.

I think the separate limit went away in the late 80's when the overall duck limit went from 7 (and a separate mergie limit) down to 5 ducks total.  Later it was amended back to 7 ducks but without the separate mergie limit.

This might be something to ask the commission to reinstate.

I agree that they shouldn't effect the daily duck bag limit.
