The Daniel's defence with integrated suppressor doesn't qualify as a SBR from what I've read.
This may be a stupid question....At what point in the build process does it have to be permanently attached to not be a SBR?

I'd like to say when it is put on a rifle configured lower... but then there are the sig brace items... which nobody has ever held up to their shoulder and fired.
I have been researching and might go the integrated route. I wasn't aware the suppressor counted towards overall length. Can I build a pistol and shoot it till I get my paper work back and then transfer it to a rifle with a butt stock?
