this will be expensive for a while. Not having a parent case means you can't form your own brass. Thats the first thing that comes to mind as I ponder this

Midway has everything you need in stock. Complete uppers, plain barrels, mags, brass and dies.

seems like it, 22PPC is its own demon as well isn't it?

It's 220 Russian based and similar to 7.62x39/Grendel etc

22PPC is based off of 220 Russian. the nosler 22 is proprietary.

I find it encouraging that in the past 5 years or so there has been a lot of new cartridge offerings from manufacturers. I am hoping that this keeps pushing advances in modern ammunition. Maybe someday we'll be deer hunting with AR-15's :yike: :sry: :chuckle:

It would seem that anytime you can take common produced brass and adapt it to your need it is fairly cost effective change... unlike the 22nosler, while cool will be quite expensive ammo.
