Brake for 6.5 CM
« on: February 11, 2017, 12:23:28 PM »
Does anyone have a recomendation or suggested brake for 6.5 CM?

And while we're at it, a scope too? FFP MOA or MRAD reticle.

This is for multi-use.

I like the microba#$tard by american precision arms, havent shot many brakes but its nice and small and works well on .270 winchester.  For a ffp mrad scope that isnt ungodly heavy and decent glass would be vortex viper pst.. plenty of elevation adjustment and "soft" zero stop just products ive had experience with

I really like the Mini Muscle brakes and the Benchmark Brakes on smalller guns.

For the scope, what's the price range? The Vortex PST is a decent scope and you can find them pretty cheap. I just sold a FFP 4-16 MIL version for $500 a while back. The Nightforce SHV F-1 is a good scope too for a little over $1200.

Thanks for the replies. So my intention was to buy a gun I've been eyeing and put a brake on it.

Well the bad new is I didn't buy that gun. But I did find a brake and bought it. It was attached to a Ruger Precision  :chuckle:

So now onto the scope.
