I'm already antsy, how about you?
« on: February 24, 2017, 11:27:34 AM »
Here we are just a few days left to apply for tags and I'm already nervous and giddy about the draw. I love hunting anytime but spring is really special for me. I love being outside watching everything green up and grow. The first week or 2 of the season you can still see back in the brush a ways, then everyday you can see less and less. Then the flowers start to show and grass along the roads grows to a point that you can start seeing where animals walked through. Then you start finding poo, and who doesn't appreciate some good poo pics? A lot of them will start showing up on here with all kinds of odd things in it. You will see boot's, hand gun's, bullets, knives, all kinds of stuff.  :chuckle: I like the fresh air, the sound of the birds, seeing deer, skunks(at a distance of course), porkupines, beavers, ducks, snakes and all the other critters. It's a time of growth and renewal. I love it and I can't wait to get out there whether I have a tag or I'm toting along with someone who does. Good luck everyone who applied, I wish you success and safe travels.

March 10th was when the draw thread lit up last year.

It should be just a couple of weeks. People with start talking about it soon. Usually someone puts up a pole for when the drawing will be held. It's usually around the 10th.

The official deadline for results is March 31. Hopefully they will be available soon.

I'm SOOO excited for this year, but I already know I'll be hunting spring bear, over in Idaho.  Can't wait to run a couple of baits.  So much fun!!!

Does anyone know if we will be able to see "DNRY" with the new system? I'd have to have a tradition like that be squashed.  :chuckle:
Good luck in the draw everyone

Hunt-Wa post counts would drop in the double digits this year if that were the case LOL

Does the back door method work with this new system? I don't want to be the first to try it.  :chuckle:
