Duracoated and hydro dipped stock and scope?
« on: January 23, 2017, 09:26:33 AM »
I'm looking for someone in Eastern WA or North Idaho who does a Duracoated and hydro dipped stock and scope with Cerakoted barrel, action and rings. I have a guy in Alaska that always does it for me but my gun is in WA right now with my dad and would like to get it done.

Anyone have any recommendations of where and knowledge of what that's running down there? I always have used Alaska Hydro graphics in Wasilla in the past.

added a pic below of what I'm looking for...

I used NW Hydro Print.    They did a great job on my rifle.

I think cerakote is a better product all around. Why not do the whole thing in cerakote?

Gorge Custom Coatings is on the eastside but is a long way from NE WA. Pretty sure you can ship to Brand X(they hold an FFL) in Everett and probably to NW Hydroprint.

appreciate the info. I think if I'm going to have him ship it I'll just have him send it to AK so I have it with me. Was hoping there would be something around Spokane or CDA/Sandpoint.

Could they cerakote a stock with the bake on cerakote or would that damage it? I've been looking into this as well and was thinking of cerakote c, the air dry stuff.

It's got to be the air dry for a stock.

Anyone ever use Northwest Firearm Finishes for anything?  Looks like they primarily do Cerakote but I think they do other types of finish/s too.  Anyone have anything done there???
