Looks like yeti is no better than the igloo , I have a Coleman and igloo. Never bought ice once after initial fill October 12, got home on October 25. The cooler with my meat still had at least half of the block left on all them 5 count Coleman extreme. My igloo had three blocks about half of the block left, plus it held my crushed ice, three bags all lasted long enough I didn't have to buy more of them either. So the cheap ones work well enough for me, funny thing is when I was researching my Coleman extreme last fall a guy bought a yeti saying he want spending anymore one cheap ones.

I've noticed that it holds ice much better than the larger Igloo that Costco sells for $100. Its obvious that the Coleman has thicker walls than the Igloo. Wondering if the RTIC would be a step up in ice retention over the Coleman I would say it's 2 steps ahead. The Coleman Extreme matched the Yeti in staying cold in this comparison:

I ordered one yesterday afternoon and received an email this morning that it shipped. Shipping was free. This is quite the deal.I am also tired of replacing coolers every year or two, hoping this one is more durable.
