One Day of Bird Hunting for 2016/17

Only one full day of bird hunting in for the year - a far cry from the +/- 60 days a year I used to get in.    I forgot how much fun this stuff it is!!!

Old 870 my dad bought me when I was 11 for $125.   I've packed it ever since and it has been well used!

I think I shot a box of shells to make that picture happen;  shooting like that, I couldn't afford to hunt more than a day or two...

You should have seen me attempting to cling to the side of the canyon and operate a shotgun.      The roosters were in the steep stuff!
