Oh you'll make it no problem, it's about 45 min if I remember right, shorter then the English Channel I think.

From the marina 6 1/4 miles, but if you get a running start and cliff dive at Washington Park, it is probably less than 5.....

Just start two hours before the slack and you should get there about two hours after.

I didn't vote on a date but defiantly in!  What are the restroom facilities like?    it would be cool to get a Hunt-WA flotilla out there fishing and crabbing for a day or two.

That is a generous offer.  I have yet to be to a Hunt-WA get together.

I didn't vote on a date and I don't have a boat, but I would be glad to help cover expenses, and I could bring BB/pellet guns, etc. for kids target shooting, if desired.  I'd understand if there were too many riders and not enough captains. But otherwise, I would be 2-4, depending on wife and youngest, if we would make it.

Hey Lokidog that sounds great! I am definitely interested. It's been a while since I've been over that way. I didn't vote for a date because I don't have any vacation I can use (I'll still be on my probationary phase) and won't have any days off for sure, but I will try to arrange my schedule and open up some time once you settle on a date. I won't know until it gets closer, though. It would probably be just me or me and one more. No boat, so I'll need to boat-pool with someone.

We have lots of trees, for the guys anyways.

Nope, picked it because people I don't know hate it when I invite friends over to party in their back yards.... 

I built a really nice greenhouse on Trump Island a while back.

I don't know anybody on this forum but I would be willing to take a couple guys on my boat to crab or fish, they will need to get there on their own though. I need to meet more people that are interested in the outdoors.

There is a charter ferry that goes out there, maybe if we had enough people we could get a deal for the weekend.
