I just got a pair of 10x56 nikon monarchs and took them outside just now with it being almost dark and man these things are bright.Looked into the woods behind us and was too dark for the naked eye but the binos were great.I know you guys with nikons already know this.I am very happy with my purchase

My 10X43 Zen EDs are like that. the first time I looked through them at dusk, I turned around to see who turned the lights on. There are many good great Optics out there today. I will put my Zens up against any other mid priced optics.

Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

My son also uses the Monarchs. Although his are an 8X36. He loves them and says his next pair will be the 10X56.
