I bet a rag wet with Laquer thinner would work great as well
Looks like it worked really good. I have a 71 BAR that Im restoring. I need to strip the rear stock of its original finish. I think you sanded your previous rifle's finish off. But how do you remove the varnish from the checkering on the stocks? Do you think crud cutter would work for that?
Do you think the crack was already there, or the extra moisture from the recent stripping process....?
