It really varries from year to year, but about 70percent on the success, last year we did better, but it can be pretty weather dependant,

How much of the meat are you typically able to get out? I have heard that with some fly in hunts you cannot get out all of the meat because of the weight.

That surprises me a bit. It is my understanding that you cannot leave much, if any, meat behind. You're not allowed to take out the rack and hide until you've packed all of the meat in most cases.

I could be wrong Skillet, but I could have sworn I read that somewhere. It would be a big issue for me personally to not be able to recover as much of the meat as possible.

Not doubting you at all, just seems odd. I've got the AK regs around here somewhere, will re-read for clarification.

You cannot leave any, you get in big trouble for want and waste up here in Alaska, if I have to make two trips to get it all that's what I do, I am required to report how much meat I bring out of the field on every hunter, so you have to make sure you take it all of the animal and I have to bring it all out.

I'd say your looking at between 6,000 and 6,500 and as much as $7000 with taxidermy work.

It is a a spike fork or 50 inch or 3 browtine area, so that means any bull that has a spike or a forked horn on one or both sides is legal, or if it has palms then it can be any size if it has 3 browtines on one side, or if it has less than 3 browtines it must be 50 inches wide or bigger

It is a spike fork or 3 browtines or 50 inch area, so if it has a spike or a forked horn on at least one side it is legal, or if it has 3 or more browtines on at least one side, it dosent matter how wide it is, if it has 2 or less browtines it must be at least 50 inches wide.
