I read this wondering why you wanted to shoot your partner from the title.  😜

Haha. Yeah I guess I could have worded that a little better.

Only one.  Got it goin about 85 in my 3/4 ton.  Haha.   i mostly just shot paper down there.  You have to get so far from town to get away from people. Or else you just got run over by atvs.

I'm also looking to join a range.   I would like to find one that will allow drawing from holster. Most I have found are pretty against that.  I know it can be a safety concern. But my opinion is that drawing is a basic fundamental that needs practice.  Anyone know any ranges in the area or even a public area with a good backstop???

We tend to go to the rattlesnake range a lot ("tricities shooting association" I believe), but they don't allow drawing.  It's fairly easy to become a Range Safety Officer, after which you can go outside of normal hours.

We go to BLM, DNR, or a friend's place for drawing. Mcbee Hill has some areas with a good backstop. The place out in Finley has too many unsafe people and looks like a dump.

We'll probably head to the range in the next couple of weekends. :)

I forget the name of the range, it was in Milton Freewater...I needed a place to resight my scope for opening day deer season and called the range (was hunting in Walla Walla), it was member only, but they called me the same day and let me in as their guest for free. The range was adequate, and the people there were really nice. If I lived in that area I would join that range for sure.

If I didn't get to sight in there, I would've gone to rattlesnake like Jennabug suggested, they seemed nice over the phone too, but it's a bit further away than milton freewater from Walla Walla.

My grandparnets used to live in Walla Walla and my grandpa was a member at the range/ gun club in Waitsburg.  Decent range with gongs at 100, 200, and 300 yards if I remember.  Also a wood burning stove for those chilly thanksgiving and Black Friday morning shooting sessions.

Thank you all for the input.  I'm gonna look up Mcbee hill.  And I'll check out tri city (rattlesnake) range hopefully this weekend.
