Leupold Gold Ring 10x42 HD
« on: February 08, 2017, 05:23:55 PM »
Anyone have any first hand experience with the now discontinued Gold Ring 10x42 HD binos?  I have a chance to pick up a used but in excellent condition pair for $500 shipped but without looking thru them I'm a tad hesitant.

My brother in law and a friend both use Leupold Gold Ring 10x42 HD. I think they are very nice glass. I compared them to my 10yr old Zeiss and newer Leica Geovids and they were just as clear and good in low light conditions compared to my Zeiss. My Leica's were a lot nicer in low light and clearer but they should be as they cost $3000.

Leupold has a great/super warranty. For that price you can't go wrong with them and they are a steal IMO. If you don't want them, let me know as I know someone that would take them  :)

Good to know, its tough finding reviews on them.  I took the plunge and committed to the deal
