Best Point Blank Load for 300 rum

Ok, I am trying to figure something out.  I know that the 300 rum is awesome for long range shooting, but not all of my shooting is going to be at 500+ yards.

This got me to thinking about point blank range and the best load to push it to the max.  What do you guys think would be the best load and sight-in to max out point blank range?

If you can get the bullet going, a 130 grain TSX drops 19" at 500 yds when sighted in at 300. 

3800 Fps is going to be hell on a barrel.

If it were me, I'd be shooting a 200 grain Accubond out of it. Sighted in 2 1/2 inches high at 100 yards would provide the most optimum trajectory. It would look about like this:

that shows a BC of .420, a 200 grain accubond is over .500...

Well I had the correct info in there but apparently it doesn't stay in there when I posted the link. You're right, the BC is .588. I put in a velocity of 3070, and had it zeroed at 165 yards. It was 2.5 high at 100 yards, 2.5 high at 200, -2.2 at 300, -12.0 at 400, and 27.7 low at 500.

Probably not the flattest option there is, but I bet the wind drift numbers will be tough to beat.

Thats real close to my load for my .300 win mag, I like the 200 grain accubonds!

Sounds like 200 may be the way to go.  That is what I am using to start with.  I was thinking 167 or maybe 180 may be better?  I am still learning the long range stuff.

If this is what you are after.....the 200 is not what you want to use.  You want a bullet that is light and will hold together for close shots.  Tripleshocks will do just that. 
The 130 is a horrible long range bullet in 30 cal, but you asked for point blank.

Tripleshocks are good bullets. I use them. I wouldn't go as light as 130 in an Ultra Mag, but a 165 or 168 would be a good option.

Maybe I missed it, but he wanted to know about MPBR.  But there is no target zone or max range intended.  If you want just pure trajectory then it would be what ever bullet you could push the fastest.  That has nothing to do with killing IMO.  3800 is not going to be any harder on a barrel then 3400.  It is the powder erroding the throat or lands that decreases the accuracy the most, and they will be equal given maximum loads.
