First try at taxidermy
« on: February 09, 2017, 06:37:15 PM »
Ok so I didn't actually do any taxidermy work but we found this old Yew wood burl in my uncles barn all covered in bird stuff. Cleaned it up and it actually had some pretty cool character to it so I decided to use it on the wife's 2016 WA buck.

Funny how that works. I have 3 years worth of euros to finish whitening and mounting. One of these days.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

Wow, way to keep busy. I don't think I'd be able to get into doing a lot of taxidermy if I ever started. I'm more interested in tanning hides or doing something with tanning.
