My uncle sent me these photos. They are not his but just something floating around on the internet.

Here is the story that went with it

The fellow in the pictures is Larry Earley.
He lives about 30 miles from Orlando ,
in the very rural community of Okahumpka,
just off the Florida turnpike in Lake County , Florida .
He has 20 acres of land and on it, a few cows and horses.
Mostly it's pasture land that is fenced with woods surrounding him.
He is neighbored by a larger cattle ranch.

His neighbor has complained for several years
that wild hogs had been raiding his cattle feeders and salt licks.
Last month he saw what he thought was a cow in his pond and went to see
if it was stuck in the mud and would have to be pulled out.
When he got close enough to realize it was a hog,
the thing made a charge at him.
He had driven his truck down to the pond and
carries a pistol in it (as any Florida redneck would,
and I say that with genuine affection).
He got his handgun and when it came at him again,
he shot it twice and killed it.

Wild hogs in Florida usually run from 100-400 pounds
with a 400 pounder being a monster.
Because this one had been feasting on grain for several years
it had grown to mammoth size.
When Larry took it to the processor it weighed in at
over 1100 pounds! The meat has no wild taste,
as it was grain fed; and Larry is quite the hero.
He has fed many fireman and provided the homeless shelter
in downtown Orlando with a couple! Of meals.
You were worried about just gators in Florida !

I wish I had pictures of the pigs from the Big Island. Small, big some with little tusks and some with big tusks. 99% of the locals kill them with a bow, rifle or shotgun, but some of the dog runners use a knife. They have chasers and holders. I felt sorry for the dogs when I saw the aftermath of a pursuit.
If the hunt goes as planned with these guys the holders will have the hog held well enough for the knife man to get in and stab the hog near the left arm pit or slit the throat.
I tried to shoot a pig with my bow when hunting with a Filipino friends, but never got a chance for a clear shot. When I go back I plan on trying again as well as doing some upland bird hunting(8000 to 10000 feet is where my Filipino friends go on the volcanoes)

I'd like to have seen that one hunted with hounds, trying to stretch him out before stickin him. HOLY!

That is one of the UGLIEST Wild Boars I have ever seen.  That Boar was killed Down in Florida.  I think it went close to 1,100 pounds.

Around Decenber of 2006 a guy shot a 1,100 Wild Boar in his neigbors yard.  It was a residential area.  Solid black, but I don't have any pictures.

Here is one that I just got the link too.  I didn't see anything about it in the american press.  Its an 1100 pound hog out of Alabama by an eleven year old.

Considering how some people are freaked by 300 pound bears, and this thing could actually eat you just for being there.

bears don't scare me at all been chased by a few brown ones.... that hog on the other hand no thanks it must weigh a ton how much would it have to be eating to maintain that weight??? lots of whitetails for sure..

Here is one that I just got the link too.  I didn't see anything about it in the american press.  Its an 1100 pound hog out of Alabama by an eleven year old.

Hogzilla is being made into a horror movie. But the sequel may be even bigger: Meet Monster Pig. An 11-year-old boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9 feet 4, from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail. Think hams as big as car tires.

If the claims are accurate, Jamison Stone's trophy boar would be bigger than Hogzilla, the famed wild hog that grew to seemingly mythical proportions after being killed in south Georgia in 2004.

I am not buying the pic of that hog!  I have 2500-2600 lb bulls that are not that big.  Either that kid is a midget or kneeling a couple of yards behing the hog and using the old "Texas Trophy Hunter" type shot to make it look much bigger.  It is obvious that that thing is massive, but I am always sceptical when they deliberately try to "fudge" the pics a little to make it seem bigger than it actually is.

I used to see a lot of hogs down in Georgia and when I was Europe out in the woods. Those two oinkers are genuine monsters. I don't know anything about the photography but either way I bet I could hear those beasts coming a mile away. I would definitely get the hell out of the way too

Those things used to come running through our camping areas at night making tons of noise. Sometimes when they got crazy they would pick on someone. I usually slept on top of vehicles to avoid them, the snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, and chiggers. They don't like you getting close to the little ones either.

I heard on the radio today that the kid is getting bombarded with threatening and degrading e-mails from animal rights hippies.  Some of them are threatening him and telling the kid that they hope that he burns in hell for this.  What kind of b.s. is that?  For craps sake, he is just a kid who shot a huge hog not some mass murderer or dirtbag!  It floors me that anyone would send that kind of e-mail to a kid for doing something perfectly legal and common practice where he lives.

The animal rights folks are really just an angry mob of people who have nothing better to do in their lives than to tell other people how to live. The problem with that is that they seem to have got the ear of one too many politicians and are able to sell their ideaologies to enough people in the right places. What hunters and gun rights folks should be doing is sticking together and also making sure their voices are heard loud and clear. It seems to be working for them so why can it not work for us?

I was going to post when I first saw this picture come up on here but I didn't.  Needless to say that hog is streight out pet Wilber.  Captive born, you can tell by the floppy ears and the curved snout...  Those Super Pigs give a real Wild Hog trophy a bad name!  A true wild hog will rearly get over 350lbs, but the bigger ones do exist.  The bigger they are the more domestic pig they have in them.
