Looking for Beaver Carcasses
« on: March 14, 2017, 02:22:37 PM »
I didn't trap this year due to time constraints but finally made it to a rendezvous and got super motivated for next season. Just ordered supplies to build 10 new traps. My first and only season I went hard for cats but only caught raccoons and non target possums. I'm hoping that a little beaver meat for bait will help me so if anyone has any extra they'd let go of I have an empty freezer waiting. I'm in pierce county but willing to travel. Thanks all in advance!

Wish I was closer. I have a whole carcasses and pre-packaged/wired baits made up, but I am in Stevens County. That's a long ways to travel!
The mountains are calling, I must go.

I saw 2 dead beavers on highway 92 right off of highway 9 towards Lake Stevens. One was destroyed and the other one was in pretty good shape still  :dunno:

I'll keep you in mind, I've been known to usually catch a few during the spring through fall.
