Scope cover preferences

I've been getting some new scopes lately and I'm thinking maybe I should consider changing out what I've always used for scope covers. I've always used Butler Creek covers........the kind that flip up.
Are there better options these days? Leupold scopes come with a neoprene cover that seems to work ok but not really for taking out in the field? Then I've seen what looks to be similar to that Leupold cover called Scopecoat. Is a Scopecoat cover the same as the Leupold cover?
Then there is the bikini style. That seems like a possible good option.
Thoughts?
(oh, I do have one Leupold scope that has the weird shaped objective lens that is not round. It is a 3L model. What is good to protect that?)

The leupold magnetic latch flipup covers are also made for the 3L and work fine.

The Leupold Aluminas are worth the expense in my opinion. They don't get lost, or pop open accidentally. Also look great. Most of my rifles have lost or broken at least one of their Butler Creeks.

Scope coat and Leuopold are the same thing. That's my preference, I can peel it off quickly and it keeps the whole scope protected. Even when it gets wet I rarely have any issue with surface fogging because the scope isn't covered in water.

AADmount makes some pretty sturdy looking covers, I will be getting a set for my Nightforce soon.

Years ago hunting near Twisp when we had a real deer season.
I lost my scope covers. We went into Twisp late at night and found a little store open.
My buddy was telling the young lady cashier that we had been there In tents just the two of us for ten days while I shopped.
I thought a pair of nonlube condoms would work for scope covers.
You should have seen the young ladies face when I threw a couple packs on the counter.
10 days later I am back home and my wife is looking for tweezers in my shaving kit.
And yep comes across a open pack of condoms.
What's this she says, Scpoe covers I reply.
Sure she says.
I call my buddy put him on speaker while dogeing objects in the air. Tell my wife what the condoms are for quick.
He yells Scope Covers!

I like the neoprene scope coat type covers best. I have a couple leupold scopes that came with plastic flip up type caps that are working well and I haven't broke them yet.

I have the old uncle mikes scope covers for all my scopes. You can find them on Ebay from time to time. Best scope covers ever.
