« on: February 17, 2009, 08:50:27 PM »
I have always shot a scott caliper style hunting release but my buddy let me shoot his carter quickie 1 plus and man is it awesome.. its a caliper style back tension release with interchangeable springs so you can set it as hot as you want.... its the best of both worlds.. no more punching, but you can still get off a good fast shot... it shoots really smooth! I will be shooting one this season......... check it out!!

you can find carter releases on just about any archery website... lancaster archery or obsession archery!  Or even go to Archerytalk and look in their classifieds.

I bought the Quickie 1 after trying my friends in '07.  It's the best release I have tried.  I like that you can hook it onto a loop by feel and not need to look away from your target.

looks similar to my scott silverhorn.. love not having to look at the loop to attach the release , just do it all by feel with your thumb..

I loved my Scott Rhino (prequil to the silver horn) For awhile there they didnt make them the same so there was no need to upgrade.
