Youth turkey near Colville
« on: March 25, 2017, 07:55:43 AM »
Taking my 12 yr old son over to Colville area for his third year turkey hunting.  We got into them on public land later in the season.  This year I'm a little worried that the snow will affect those areas.  Do you think there are turkeys on the lower public land areas or are they mostly holed up on private land?  Regardless, we'll have a good time as he's patient after taking two deer and a bear.  I love seeing him mature and "getting it", makes me proud!

Oh, one other question for those in the know, would using a blind on public be advantageous?  We tried it last year with no luck, but to be fair didn't use it much.

Thanks for any advice!  Rob
