Bow hunting Beezley 272
« on: February 20, 2009, 12:31:52 PM »
I'm going to school in Ellensburg and really want to do some open country desert muley hunting in september.  I was wondering if anyone has hunted the Beezley unit.  Public Access?  Deer numbers?  Looking to do a little spot and stalk next september.  Thanks

You'll have lots and lots of opportunities.  Which is good because you'll need lots and lots of opportunities.  My friend Bow hunts the Beazley.  His dad got one and my friends messed up lots and lots of times.

What late hunt :chuckle:
We have been rifle hunting this unit for 8 years, I have been tempted to archery hunt it just because there are some pigs out there that don't show up till the does start to go into heat, my bro hunted it last year and had a blast stalking a couple nice muley bucks, the key is scrapping up permission to hunt. Its out there, just keep asking!

They late hunt is awsome.  There are some PIGS out there that only come out for the late hunt.  The early hunt isn't bad either because they're still in their summer phase.  Just expect to be good at low crawling.
