Got this big Bobbie today in a trap I got from Ouchfoss. He gave the boys and I a thrill snarling and growling. I appreciate all the help and tips from everyone here. I used Jessie's tip of moving 50 or 60 yards to a Better location to improve my success. Special thanks to Bruce for all his work putting on trapping classes and helping us new trappers.

Nice! He does look pretty big!
Seems kind of odd how moving a cage like 50 - 100 yards can make a cage shy cat decide to go in but it does work. Glad to hear those cages are giving you so much fur and fun!

Congrats!!! Good looking cat ! Sometimes just adding a second cage 20-30 ft away will get a cat that won't commit to go in the other one
How has the trapping season been going for you?

Jakeland the season has been good so far, still learning every day. This is our 4th cat and we are up to 26 beaver now. Looks like you and everyone else are doing well. Hope to see and meet more of you at the rendevouse in Elma on the 11th.

Jakeland we haven't got any Nutria even though we see them while duck hunting. We did catch our first cat on a nutria leg I had frozen from last year.
