Heard an idiot legislator last night on Komo news talking about the attempt in this state to ban "assault weapons". His claim was that the bullets from "assault weapons" Travel up to two times faster than bullets from non "assault weapons" and can pierce body armor because of that. That is the sort of distorted facts and logic we are up against.
