There is alot of DNR/ Public land to hunt in the 410.  Whidbey is over run though, you should try one of the smaller islands like Waldren.  If seen tons of non-typical buck on the islands, last year we say a hermaphrodite doe w/antlers.  Crazy inbreeding going on.

you may want to check out the navy's ground off paunell road I think it is, seen some monster bucks along the fence. I don't think that you have to be navy to get a pass to hunt, but not sure
Its all about the bone baby!

I've kill a half dozen or so deer of whidbey, cultass bay and muntany bay have been good to me, near lone lake there's some clear cuts that also produce , lots of private land and tree hugers there. don't pass up a really small spot if its legal . those deer will really hold tight even letting you pass them bye. there isnt as many deer as in the past since they have opened it up to any deer. there is so big bucks though i know in the south cental parts. I knew a guty ho killed a 229 lbs buck six years back. my largest was 125. some dinks too 65lbs. its really thick but makes a good day hunt, coach

Just don't caught hunting Waldren without permission.  They will whack you for shooting there pets.  I think they cross bread those deer with goats and sheep and maybe a yorkie just for fun.  :chuckle: :chuckle:
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

You might go to the "introductions" page and say hello, not often does a member get much real info when someone comes right out in their first post asking :twocents:
