I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.

You can bait in ID?  Do they sell tags over the counter?

I've never shot a bear.  Always wanted to do it at least once...

Change or no change to the bear regs, I'm hunting spring and fall bear in ID, over bait mostly, some spot and stalk and some calling.  I'm looking for a 6+ footer or a really nice color phase.

Shoot one with my bow and maybe one with a shotgun.  I am ready for a rug and a mount.

I'm saving my points for next year, should be able to draw. Will have 5 points for next year's draw. I have a couple of spots in mind that I will try the first week of August (private land.)  Will be trying to call one in. If I get a chance to go in September it will be in the Teanaway GMU.

But I want to spend much of my time in September scouting elk for the early muzzleloader hunt, and that will be near home, so I don't see myself doing a lot of bear hunting in September either. If only they would drop the proposal to close public lands in August, I'd have so many more places to hunt.  :bash:

I picked up a permit to the kapowsin area this year .  i will put in for the spring hunt as well.i have not been in  there before so i am going to have to put in some hrs. scouting and learn the area.i think 300 bucks is a little steep for the permit in there but i will see what i can find. i live 5 min. from the buckley gate so i will look there fist.

Kill as many with my family as legally possible. Starting Aug 1st, till the end...

Tikka .300 wsm for me...however, this year I would like to get one with a bow. I am also looking for a big boy...so I will try to be choosy.

Hunting range for me is from Issaquah, north to Baker, east to clockum, NE to Mazama/twisp...and anywhere there between.

Same as turkey season.  Put a tracking device on boneaddicts truck and hope he is using his bow.   :chuckle:
