Legit question, not messing with you Jd....but do you have permission to post that? Based on the current watermark discussion, and the fact your link shows the same pic with the watermark Im not sure if we should keep that up. For all purposes, the pic is poached.

The photo was emailed to me.  I deleted nothing from it.  I emailed the guy that sent it to me after someone said it looked like a Whitetail and he sent me the link to the site wherein the owner posted it.

Now that I think about I would imagine since the watermark is still there the owner is getting credit. Maybe Bone can chime in....like you said, its not altered. Just thinking out loud a bit.

I don't work for free and I don't want anyone else not being given fair comp for their work either.  I get a half dozen photos emailed to me every day, this one was just too cool to not share.

Oh Wow!  Old Bruiser probably regressing, and looks like he had an eye put out in a past fight! Great pic thanks for sharing!

Looking back at it now, I probably shouldn't have passed on him last fall!          :chuckle:

Nice find JD.  Great shot award to the photographer.

Couple quick things.....

Bump.

I reached out and the owner of this photo has authorized the posting. He let me know he has had problems with crop and post issues. This is uncropped and credit is given so it can stay.

Lastly, please keep in mind that just because a photo has come your way you may not have permission to post it on social media. The forum rules state you will not post what you do not have permission to do so. Credit was given but permission from the owner was only given after the fact.

So, heck of a buck and just some food for thought.

For sure. We exchanged a few messages. He has some great photos.  Maybe we can get him on here as a sponser and get even more exposure. Who knows.
