Florida hog hunt
« on: April 25, 2017, 04:40:42 PM »
I am going out tomorrow morning to hunt hogs thanks to a Non profit Organization that helps Veterans that need a little Nature therapy. The company is 10 Can Inc which Matt is a great guy and also has other trips like fishing, canoeing, camping retreats, father and child activities check them out on the web or facebook

I took these two hogs which were sows with my bow and it was exciting. I used the Ti Con from Radical Archery Designs broadheads and I'm impressed by the holes it made. I was on the ground spotting and stalking we started off in a stand. We had a group of pigs come into the feeders but I had a branch in my shooting lane. Both hogs were laying in a bedding area in different areas which I was within 20 yards for both shots. Any veterans or if you know any veterans please get ahold of 10 Can Inc. it's more than just hunting trips also

It was a blast I have never shot hogs with.a bow which I had plenty of opportunti which I was done by 9:30 am there was a nice boar about 150 lbs but good teeth and couldn't stand up fast enough. These hogs would not stand still until after they have eaten all the corn from the feeders so we decided to go by foot

Here is a wild boar taken with a pistol caught by dogs it was a lot of fun it was different from what I'm used to but it was good to get out of my comfort zone and enjoyed myself
