Hello Wolf Advisory Group members and Interested Parties:

I am writing to update you on two items:

·         As requested, we have scheduled a conference call for next Wednesday, March 15, from noon to 2:00PM.  The conference call is for information sharing and to answer questions related to the gap exercise for anticipated range riders on open range allotments this summer and the Department’s brainstorming session on the revised protocol for managing wolf-livestock interactions.  The call-in number is 360-407-3780.  I will send the Pin Code for WAG members and Department staff in a separate email.  All WAG events are open to the public - the public may listen to the call from a muted line using the same call-in number, with Pin Code 515109#.

·         Our next WAG meeting is scheduled for March 29-30, 2017 at the Doubletree Inn located in downtown Olympia (http://doubletree3.hilton.com/en/hotels/washington/doubletree-by-hilton-hotel-olympia-OLMCWDT/index.html).  There will be an open-house style public input period from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on March 29 prior to the WAG meeting.  The public input from that session will be passed along to WAG members during their work session later that afternoon.  The official WAG work session is from 11:45am to 5:30pm on March 29 and 7:30am to 2:00pm on March 30.  Lunch will be provided both days to WAG members and Department staff, and we have reservations for a non-working dinner on Wednesday evening.  An agenda will be circulated in a later email.  All WAG events are open to the public.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you,

Donny Martorello

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
