Wow...just wow. What are the odds?

The companion froze, not knowing what to do. Neither man was carrying bear spray, a firearm or a cellphone.

How is this possible for two "forest service cops"?????
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Hummmmm another "studied" bear!  Maybe the powers that be with this bear should have "studied" the findings about "bears" and how they "act" AFTER they've been STUDIED!!!! :o

But not to many people like the FACTS as they come out!   It was either Field and Stream or Outdoor life that did a feature on the findings years ago.   Then again it was just black bear findings.  Grizzly's were not on the ESL or even being conceived as being re-introduced! :bdid:

There was another thread on this back when it happened. Get ready, WA. We'll be installing some of these bicycle speed bumps very soon.  :bash:

This is fake news.

While it is true that he collided with the bear..................the "other man" was not a man at all.

It was his young son who went for help after seeing his dad attacked.

He wasn't a "COP" that day.........................he was a father.

Afew weeks after this one, where we ran a field trial a guy was mauled while pheasant hunting. A guy I'm training with lives on the east side of that valley against the preserve was telling me he hazes them of his bird pens weekly all summer. (st. Ignatius, Mt.)

I'd be more concerned about how a Grizz acts when it takes a high speed mountain bike rib check. Apparently they don't seem to take it well.
