Karen and Bruce's trapline
« on: February 27, 2017, 11:25:23 PM »
I could not get anyone to take the Brady trapping spot I posted earlier. Working with WDFW on this and hope it pays off with more lands open to trappers in the future.
So, I teamed up with our own Fatslinger and off we went to try and put a dent in some problem beaver.
First check the water was a little high and we had trouble with washed out sets but connected on an otter and nutria.

Second check was today and we finally did a little good. Three big beaver and another otter.
Whoa, that is one mean looking lady. >:( :chuckle: Ok to be fair it was blowing and very cold at the time.

More to come.

It was pretty cool and windy yesterday and I was tired from watching Bruce carry all those heavy beaver.

Lot of recent talk about the weights of beaver with the 100 pound post so It spurred me to weigh those three. 54, 44 and 38.
