2017 Alberta Spring Black Bear Hunts
« on: March 01, 2017, 07:05:46 PM »
If you've always wanted a good chance to take a really big black bear and/or a color phase bear, our spring Alberta bear hunts are the perfect opportunity to do just that.
We have exclusive hunting rights on some great bear country west of Drayton Valley in central Alberta. Baiting is legal in this part of Alberta and we conduct all of our bear hunts over carefully scouted and strategically located bait sites. This means that, unlike many other bear hunting outfitters, every single one of our bait sites is a proven performer and gets a ton of bear traffic. It’s not uncommon for a half dozen bears to visit our bait sites in a single evening. Each bait site also has a trail camera. So, you will not hunt at a bait site that’s not being regularly visited by a good quality trophy bear.
We had a 100% success rate on our Alberta bear hunts in 2016 and the typical bear taken measured over 6 feet long and weighed over 300 pounds. About 20% of the bears in the area are color phase ranging from cinnamon to blonde.
We can accommodate both rifle and archery hunters.
Hunt Cost: $4,000 per hunter. A second bear may be added for an additional $750.
The hunt includes: 8 Days Accommodation: 6 Full Hunting Days Plus 2 Travel Days, Trophy Fee For 1 Black Bear, Transportation To And From Edmonton International Airport, All Accommodation, Food, & Beverages During The Hunt, Transportation In And Around The Hunting Area, Hunting License & Bear Tag, Field Preparation Of Bear Trophy, Hide, And Meat After Hunt, and All Applicable Taxes. At the end of the hunt, all harvested bears will be field dressed, skinned, and quartered. Basically, your plane ticket, taxidermy, meat processing, and gratuities are the only things not included in this hunt.
Hunt Dates:
6-13 May 2017: We’ll pick you up at the airport on 6 May, hunt 7-12 May, then drop you back off at the airport on 13 May.
13-20 May 2017: We’ll pick you up at the airport on 13 May, hunt 14-19 May, then drop you back off at the airport on 20 May.
For more information, check out the Alberta bear hunts page on our web site.

Well, the spring bear draw results for Washington are out. If you didn't draw a tag, this hunt is the perfect opportunity to get a really nice black bear. We've still got availability for both dates, but they are going fast! Contact me ASAP to reserve your spot.
