Man, the fallout from the permit system change and magic points replication in all categories in 2010 keeps coming. I know of at least one guy with 11 over 65 points - and he's in his 50's.  That means a guy turning 65 today would be 76 before he catches up to that whippersnapper.

Such a poorly thought out implementation of a poorly thought out plan.

Rant over.

Four points for second deer and four points for spring bear, maybe it will be my year... No WDFW has me blacklisted  :bash: :bash: :bash:

I agree, it was totally unfair. One reason I'm choosing to spend more of my money in other states.

[/quote]I'm in the same boat, with 12 points waiting for me when I reach 65, become disabled, or turn 15 again.

I checked & found. Antlerless (Elk 65=2 pts, Deer 65=14 pts, Regular Deer Doe=21 pts, Moose 65=14 pts) & I'll be 65 in July. I need to check out these old guy hunts.    :)

Unless the guy turning 65 today also had 11 points (or more) when the system changed in 2010.

I have 10 over 65 points and I'm 31, but I can't accumulate any more in that category for 34 more years.

Completely agree. I drew a elk permit in 2008 so I had 1 point dispersed in all the stupid category's. I would have gladly ghost pointed or returned my 2008 permit to benefit more on the point scattering.

The whole point distribution discussion  brings back memories of my anger toward Dave Ware and the commission for approving the thing. >:(

Looks like not all categories are up to date.

All of mine are.   :dunno:

My mistake,

I was thinking this years points should be recorded, but they haven't been submitted yet.
