Is this a invasive lake trout preying on local cutthroat scenario like you read about in Yellowstone?

Probably more like an invasive legend preying on local fishermen.

That fish is dead.

Probably, especially if it's fossilized, as per the previous pic.

You have to visit it anyway.  Friday night and Saturday night visit the camp ground and Mineral Tavern.  It is well worth the travel.  Lot's of fun.

We would, but PBR Saturday night and I am going to have to work on getting the kid's gardens in all day Friday and may be to tired.  Just too much going on lately.

Larry and I got into a 6lb rainbow. But it wasn't enough.  When we left the biggest fish was 9 1/2 lbs.
