Hard copies of out of state regs?
« on: March 09, 2017, 05:59:50 PM »
Any of the out of state agencies willing to send you a reg pamphlet? My wife's uncle invited me on a Wyoming wilderness hunt next year and I know I have to apply, figured I might try a few other states as well.

Problem is I am computer stupid. I can have him mail me a copy for Wyoming but can I get the others to send me something? Couldn't find the option online but like I said, computer stupid.

Yes. Most states will send you out their regs. U can do it online or just call a regional office.  Wyoming might be the only exception thought they where stopping the hard copies a few years ago.

Got a printer?    :chuckle:  WY will send with your license if drawn.  But that comes after quota's etc. are determined.  I'm on ID mailing list (I think) but haven't seen anything yet.  Cost would go up if they printed in the #'s that WA does. :yike:

Which specie do you need regulations for?
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I was invited on an elk hunt in Wyoming but I'd like to look into deer and possibly bear as well. Thanks for those links I will have to have my wife print them out and perhaps I'll call offices in some others to have them sent. I'm pretty sure I'm past some of the other states deadlines for points now but it will get me a little more familiar for next year.

Hopefully.

Maybe have a friend do the homework for you in exchange for going on the trip with you.  Ideally, a friend who lives within 15 minutes for easier planning purposes.
