If it hasn't thawed, look it over for freezer burn and if it looks good, cook it up.  :twocents:

Depends on how much money you make.

If you're paycheck to paycheck and think that things like bear steak taste good, then eating it wont hurt you and you'll get something out of the $60.

If you're single, renting a condo or cheap house, with no family and no kids, and like good food, then make it into crabs.

If you don't have a boat, then go buy one and you'll feel rich no matter which income bracket you're in.

I owned a boat once. Felt rich buying it and was thereafter poor until I sold it! :chuckle:

Weigh it, give you a good idea of freezer burn.  Poultry does not keep as will as some.  Safe if cooked properly?  probably.  Edible????

We've had factory packaged turkeys in the freezer for 2 plus years. No detectable difference form new. Of course they were always in my control, and always kept in the deep freeze.

Absolutely.  If it has been in sealed plastic in a deep freeze it will be just fine.

Thaw it out slowly and then check it out for burn.
If it looks good roast it with an eye towards enciladas and taco fixings which will require the appropriate seasonings while roasting. (Add some moisture to minimize drying).
If it is a little bit freezer burnt trim it up and make a big batch of tortilla soup.
If it's toast, feed the crabs.
BON APPETITE!!
Rob.
