Saw some Tucannon Bighorns today

Saw 5 ewes and 3 lambs today on the Tucannon. Pics are a little blurry took the pics on my phone from a distance.  1 ewe and a lamb on the rock. One ewe eating out of the bush on the left.

That is great news.  With the translocation of some Asotin ewes, Lookout Mtn (OR) ewes/rams and National Bison range ewes over the last 5 or so years, hopefully this herd is poised for some serious growth.  There was near total failure on the GPS collars on the MT sheep which is a bummer and has made surveys more challenging.
