Smith doing the work? You got any suggestions? What about THE RANGE?
smith as in gunsmith.  I assumed you are having this barrel chambered and installed on your action by a gunsmith?  Like I said, gI've MIke Johnson a call and chat with him about what you want.  I promise after you chat with him you will want him doing your gun work. Tell him Karl Blanchard referred you.

That's a great choice oh mah. After my last build with benchmark I won't be using any other barrel maker in the near future. You won't be disappointed

Hell yeah!  Gonna be anice amazing shooter no doubt!  Can't go wrong with a Manners or a McMillan.  I have the mcmillan gamescout on my carbon.  They make a gamescout with an adjustable cheek piece now that I wish they made when I built mine.  I believe they are both about 5 months out on turn around though.

Manners will ship you sample stocks to check out.  They sent a couple I wanted to look at and I settled on EH1 for the carbon lapua build Mike is doing for me.

Thanks to my buddy Silk and BLRman for pointing me to Mike at HCA for my ultimate 338 build.  I think its going to be a family legacy rifle.

You will be very happy with a benchmark barrel. I have one on my 300RUM and it produces some amazing results.
